There was no auction for the Saare 7 sea area
Neither of the companies submitting a competing superficies licence application fulfilled the requirements for participation in the auction. CPTRA intends to refuse to initiate the superficies licence proceedings in respect of all the competing applications in the Saare 7 sea area.
Currently, it is unknown whether there will be a new auction in the Saare 7 area, as it depends on the interest of the developers. A new application for a superficies licence would need to be submitted to the CPTRA in order to establish an offshore wind farm in the Saare 7 area.
